Configure qualification and direct booking
Set transparent assessment criteria and enable booking only after the property is ready.
Set assessment criteria
Open Integrations → Live enquiry connections → Configure advisory assessment and select the property.
- Choose Add criterion. Select budget, tenancy length, unit/room type, pets or parking needs.
- Set Comparison, Expected value, Explanation and Weight. Budget uses pounds per month; tenancy length uses months.
- Set Advisory threshold between 1 and 10, then choose Save assessment policy.
- Test complete, incomplete and borderline enquiries. Inspect the explanation on the lead and correct mistakes with a recorded staff reason.
Pre-vetting questions live in Flows
The questions the assistant asks before booking are the Pre-vetting step of the Viewing booking flow (Build → Flows). Edit them on the canvas, test the draft and publish. Different questions for different properties use a condition step on the property, and the flow checks each property's Direct booking setting before offering slots.
A score is not a booking decision
The score is advisory. Pre-vetting answers, property availability, direct-booking permission and a valid free viewing slot are separate checks. Existing enquiries keep their pinned policy version when you edit the policy; test a new enquiry to verify the new settings.
Enable direct booking
Complete the launch journey before switching it on.
- Approve the property knowledge and verify that inventory is available.
- Check the pre-vetting questions in Build → Flows → Viewing booking, calendar assignment, slot rules, confirmation recipients and staff coverage.
- Run an incomplete enquiry and verify that the assistant asks for missing information rather than confirming a viewing.
- Open Properties and enable Direct booking for the intended property. Keep it off for properties that require staff approval.
- Run a qualified test enquiry and confirm the booking in both Sorsana and the selected calendar.
If a booking is blocked
Check completeness and permission first, then inventory, slot capacity, notice/buffer rules and calendar access. Raising the score does not bypass these checks.
