Connect and sync viewing calendars
Choose Google or Microsoft calendars, assign them to properties and verify changes.
Choose a calendar owner
Use a dedicated viewing calendar accessible to the account owner. The account needs permission to edit events. This connection handles Sorsana viewing events and reads external busy periods; it does not turn unrelated personal calendar events into enquiries.
Connect and assign
Open Integrations → Live enquiry connections.
- Under Configure a connection, choose Google Calendar or Microsoft Calendar. Keep Calendar ID as primary for the default calendar. Save settings.
- Choose Connect account, sign in as the calendar owner and approve calendar permissions. Return to Integrations and choose Test.
- To use another calendar, choose Edit → Load calendars, select a writable calendar, Save settings and Test again. Do this before creating linked bookings.
- Open Choose a booking calendar. Select the Property and the active calendar connection, then Save booking calendar.
- Configure Viewing slots with operating timezone, duration, capacity, notice period and buffers. Verify that busy provider events prevent overlapping bookings.
- Book a test viewing, confirm exactly one provider event, then edit its time in the calendar and choose Sync now. Check the updated viewing, customer timezone and change notice.
- Cancel the test event and sync again. Check cancellation and stopped reminders.
What sync covers
Google calendar sync uses paginated sync tokens and recovers when they expire. Microsoft’s default calendar uses calendar-view delta; other selectable Microsoft calendars use paginated calendar-view checks. The Microsoft view covers the previous 30 days and next year and refreshes its window daily. Linked viewing IDs are also checked directly, including bookings outside that window. Checks run every five minutes, with earlier checks from provider notifications.
Pending, conflicts and changes
A viewing stays pending until the provider confirms it. A timeout may leave an uncertain reservation; do not create a second booking to work around it. External edits that overlap another viewing, unsupported event times or unresolved writes need staff review. Do not change a connection’s Calendar ID after it has linked bookings; contact support to migrate the calendar. Multiple properties assigned to one connection share its availability.
